So here’s a bit of Paris for you, the overly romantic postcard version.
I could not help but be all mesmerized by the Eiffel tower.
In fact both American boy and I were quite take by it’s majestic figure.
It does not matter how many times I see her, I am always in awe, and love her stature in the Parisian skyline.
So, as I mentioned earlier, on our first day we arrived just in time for the Sunday evening organ concert in Notre Dame and spent and hour swooned and moved by the powerful organ pieces played.
It was a still smelting heat both inside and outside the Dame so we grew quite drowsy by the last piece.

Then off we went to wander the streets of Paris.
Hand in hand we walked along the Seine, people watched and soaked up on Parisian history and architecture.
Oh, she is majestic and inspiring!
After and long day and very tired feet we went to Montmartre for a breathtaking view, a Catholic mass in Sacre coeur, and street dance performance, and a Pain au chocolat at the end.
Now let me tell you, Montmartre is of course filled with hungry tourists lining up for the perfect Parisian and overpriced crepe, but don’t let that stop you, press on.
A street or two away from the crowd you come to a petite street that takes me far away from the big city and to a small cosy countryside cul de sac.
But I’ll give you a petite post about this street tomorrow;)
This time around we never made it to any of the fantastic art museum while in Paris as we only had a couple of days before we had to jet to Concarneau in Bretagne for a photo-shoot.
So we wandered, ate, talked and soaked up of the Parisian life.
We stayed in a very charming and small hotel that I can highly recommend.
Go here.
Well, my friends that’s it for today, but more will come over the next days.
Love
Marie
