Wandering women Europe journey 2012 {Part three}

We arrived Milano late at night and headed straight to our little Hotel, curled up in bed and fell asleep happy as clams;)

The next day we arose early and quickly headed out the door to get as much time as possible out of Milano before our train to Firenze at 13.

The above image is the view as we emerged from underground {metro} and popped our heads up right in front of the beautiful Duomo.

While beautiful Ann and I wandered off to explore, Britt took out her great little film camera to capture this majestic Duomo in detail from the floor.

I loved every moment of sharing “my” Milano with these dear ladies, sharing little nooks of the city that is off the beaten path, charming cafes, special pastry shops I love and secret little gardens, I was in heaven.

Spending time with these ladies is truly conditioning my soul.

Then we hopped on the train and took off to Firenze, where we ate a late ravioli lunch before our final destination, Rome.

Many of you have asked me what I’m doing in Rome so in the next posts I’ll share more of my work here in Rome, and yes, it’s very much related to food.

I’v not had a lot of time to enjoy cooking yet, so for some recipes and food photos to enjoy lets dive a bit back in the archives, go here, here, here and here.

 And then here and here...

Firenze was all we hoped for and more.

And before we knew it we were back on the train direction Rome…

(more soon…)
