Some days ago, while going for an afternoon walk along the beach here on my fjord island, I rediscovered a wild apple tree that has these great small and troll-looking apples. I knew I had to incorporate some of them in a food styling job.
So when I was asked to create a warm fall breakfast photo, I thought of the apples that had been resting outside mon petite studio on a branch.
Their warm and cozy red is exactly what i associate with fall, and the smell of the warm porridge sweetened with raspberry honey from a local farm and apples filled my kitchen with the most delightful smell of fall.
Do you have things, traditions, smells or food that remind you of fall?
I have one more, and that is the smell of pine wood crackling away in the open kitchen fireplace. Then I know the seasons have changed and it’s time to snuggle up inside with a good book.
I’ll post the recipe for this easy, healthy and delicious breakfast porridge soon, but we’ll have to wait till it’s up on the company page which I styled it first.
They have asked me to come up with recipes and style food for them, which I’m so happy about, so there’l be lot’s more to come.
Have a lovely fall day!
