A branch from Norway

Introducing Kvist, which translates to a small branch in english. Kvist used to be my Saturday treat shop in Oslo when I lived there.

On weekend afternoons I’d meander throught the streets , make my way to this inspiration-overload of a shop and browse way.

I’d always feel uplifted and inspired.

I love nude raw wood, and love a simple whitewashed wood table, but gently spruced up with these great hues of coral/salmon, and  I’m just in heaven!

If this doesn’t say Scandinavian spring to you, then I don’t know what does;)

These stubs would be so great as nightstands.

I’ve absolutely put them on my wish list.

They are all handmade on a small farm in Norway called Krosser that I’ll have to visit on my next trip home.

All the items in this post can be bought through Kvist, but if you live outside of Oslo, or Norway, you can also purchase these items through the  the links I’ve provided.

And of course a perfect spring weekend would not be complete without some Norwegian waffles.

I just love the tradition waffle shape of these that I don’t even mind that they’re non edible, and that’s saying something;)

Go here to check out more products from Maja and Helene who makes the waffle hearts below to put warm pot and pans on or grab a dish out of the oven with.
