Sewing machine shed

A while ago I came over a blog that had this wonderful feature, about a woman and her fantastic sewing machine shed.

However, due to a little summer cleaning on my Mac and desk, I cannot find the information about the blog nor the woman.

I hope some of you can help me find back to the rightful ‘owner’ of the shed.

In the meantime, have a look at her creative room in her backyard.

A perfect retreat.

Personal, light, full of small wonders and a space to be alone and create.

If you live in a warmer climate you can perhaps convert a small greenhouse, or an old shed.

When I was younger I got a doll house that looked a bit like this shack, however it was not insulated and was freezing in the wintertime.

But with some insulation it could have been a great little creative space.

Too bad it’s all gone now.

I guess it had something to do with the fact that I grew out of the playing with dolls faze and started traveling the world.

Thus the doll house got lonely, needed another little girl to move in with her dolls and blow some life back into its walls.

This wonderful shed is the upgraded version of the doll house, the adobe creative suite 2010, non?

Take a look with me.

Now, remember I told you about that street , that charming petite cul de sac a stone throw from Montmartre?
Well, I was going to share it with you, but my photos do not do the street justice.
So I have decided to tell you the street name, and hope you have a chance to swing by next time you’re in Paris.
Here’s a link to a beautiful walk that leads you to this street.
