The other day, the sun was high, there was a light breeze in the air and a niece and I went for a petite picnic on the beach.
The sand warmed our toes, we ate sweet rolls and picked seashells.
Then we went to mon petite guesthouse in the woods and made headbands and necklaces.
I thought you might want to see some of the necklaces.
I am not a jewelry person at all, but when it is over the top bold in neutral colors, I think I might want to get all bejeweled from time to time.
What do you think?

Absolutely gorgeous! Sounds like a lovely day.
I love them very much:) I love that they are so big and bold.. they make a huge statement.
They are very pretty:) SO pretty you could sell them!
they’re beautiful marie – we love shell necklaces.
I think they’re splendid! The fact that they’re big and bold make them cool instead of chintzy.
I love the necklaces. They look like so much fun, reminding me of summer and the beach. Great look!

I love shells and collect them from beaches around the world and have friends bring some back for me. I’ve created a necklace with a few of my favorite shells, a brass link chain and two of Jeanine Payer sterling silver pieces. Thank you for sharing your creation! They are beautiful and I love the natural color.
